Faith First was born out of a simple prayer gathering in June 2020, when hundreds came together — across lines of race, denomination, and difference — to grieve, pray, and acknowledge that things were not as they should be. From that moment, we saw the power of unity firsthand, and we knew: people can come together.
Faith First has grown into a community of storytellers, bridge-builders, and generous supporters working to put Jesus first, serve others with love, respect, and kindness, and shine light on the good in the world.
Everything we do at Faith First, we ask:
- Are we keeping Jesus first in all things?
- Are we serving others with Jesus’ love, respect and kindness?
- Are we a source of encouragement –- reminding everybody that good things are still happening?
Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for decades or you’re just beginning to explore who He is, Faith First can be part of your journey. It is our hope that the world will see, through Christians living with faith first, the reconciliation that God can bring to the divisions that surround us all.

Before that, he worked as a reporter and columnist for the Reading Eagle, The Patriot Ledger (Massachusetts), the Naples Daily News (Florida), and The Associated Press. He volunteers regularly and currently serves on the Berks County Public Libraries Advisory Board.
